  7. I began to shock my body with nutritious food high on fiber. In less than a week, I began to feel the change. I never have had trouble with irregularity but I can say that now I go and it feels different. I am not feeling groggy, tired, cranky; I feel less bloated and energetic. This, of course, after visiting with my Dr and running some tests. I was told I was borderline diabetic and morbidly obese. Today, Monday morning, I am off to the gym. High fiber diet can be inexpensive and the rewards last a life time. I simply went with black beans, avocado, lentils, almonds, bananas, apples, oranges, etc. I spent less than $90 at the grocery store for food that will last me about 3 weeks. Beats the 100's of dollars I was spending on junk food. Fyi, subway, quiznos, etc, is not healthy but it is the lesser of the two evils lol (not advertising, just my experience). I never worried about this stuff because I was always active; 7 years as a construction hand when I was younger and 14 yrs in the military. After I was injured, I got lazy and perhaps depression played a part. Took a while but I shook it off and I am now on a new path. CONSUME FIBER PEOPLE! You too will see and feel the difference.
