Directions Carbs & Sugar Free
For Water Based Jello
Before you start on the 2nd jello recipe grease the mold of your choice with pan release spray. Make sure you use a paper towel to remove the excess.
- You will use a total of 6 cups of boiling water but you will begin to stir 2 cups of boiling water into 2 boxes of Jell-O in a bowl until completely dissolved.
- Once it’s completely dissolved then add the 4 cups remaining of boiling water.
- Place in a rectangle container and refrigerate. (I normally leave it overnight but you could also refrigerate for 4 hours.)
- Once the jello is firm cut into squares.
For Cream Based Jello
- You will begin to stir 1 cup of boiling water into 2 boxes of Jell-O in a bowl until completely dissolved.
- Once it’s completely dissolved add 4½ cups of heavy whipping cream.
- You will have to continuously stir otherwise the mix will become firm. In case that happens you can put the mix in the microwave for less than 1 minute, make sure the mix doesn’t get too warm otherwise it will melt the water based jello.
Putting it together!
Place a few water based jello squares in your greased mold then add the cream based jello to cover, creating the first layer. Repeat! You will continue to layer until you fill the top of your mold. Make sure you refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight.
