Ingredient Fruit Mix Salad with Almonds
- Strawberries (2 cups)
- Kiwi (3)
- Bananas (2)
- Grapes (seedless, 1 cup)
- Oranges (2)
- Orange juice (1/2 cup)
- Lemon juice (1/2 cup)
- Brown sugar (1/2 cup)
- Zest (orange and lemon, ½ teaspoon)
- Almonds (chopped) – ½ cup
- Vanilla extract (1 teaspoon)
- Blueberries (1 cup)
- Mint to garnish
Method Fruit Mix Salad with Almonds
- Cut all the fruits in nice small pieces of strawberries, oranges, bananas, blueberries, and grapes. Make sure they are all of the same sizes because then it looks good in appearance.
- Now take a small pot and add orange juice, lemon juice, brown sugar, zest of orange and lemon as well as the vanilla extract and let it cook for about 10 minutes on low heat.
- When it creates a thick texture, take it off and let it cool. When it is chilled, add it in the bowl of the fruits and enjoy the fruity lunch with sprinkling the crushed almonds and mint over it.
